Key Responsibilities:

• Work on challenging and highly visible projects for Fixed Income and other business areas driven by business needs.
• Perform hands-on development as an individual contributor, including writing unit tests and participating in testing activities throughout the SDLC (DEV, UAT).
• Participate in daily stand-ups following Agile/Scrum methodologies and work closely with TPMs and other development team members.
• Perform design and code reviews for ongoing projects.




• Follow Mizuho’s coding, design standards, comply with security, and other internal requirements.
• Participate in change management processes, support production deployments, and take ownership of project delivery.
• Continuously review software health, code quality, and security vulnerabilities, and evaluate recent tools and libraries to improve engineering practices.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation and operational runbooks.
• Propose new technical solutions, perform proof-of-concepts (POCs), and collaborate with technical leads and architects on technology evaluations.
• Improve application stability through monitoring, incident handling, and platform upgrades.
• Mentor and coach junior software developers and analysts.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring and Spring Bo
