About the Role: We handle several film and content production houses, and accounts payable and treasury are among our deliverables under these engagements. You will be employed by SGKN & Co., to handle these engagement and handle the AP and treasury functions of the client under the supervision of our partner.

Job Description:
Accounts payable
• Process invoices and payments for cast, crew, technicians, equipment rentals, locations, post-production and other production vendors
• Onboard vendors:



collect and verify PAN, GSTIN, bank details, MSME status and vendor agreements
• Code expenses to the respective production, schedule and budget head
• Deduct and deposit TDS on vendor payments, and prepare data for TDS returns
• Check GST on vendor invoices, apply reverse charge where needed
• Monitor MSME vendor compliances
• Reconcile vendor ledgers and resolve payment queries

Treasury
• Prepare daily fund position reports for each project
• Build weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts aligned to shoot and release schedules
• Prepare payment batches in net banking as maker, for approval by authorized signatories
• Perform bank reconciliations and coordinate with banks on day-to-day matters

General
• Prepare weekly payment schedules, AP ageing and cash reports for partner review before release to clients
• Support month-end closing, audits and production cost reports
