Role Description The Assistant Legal Counsel role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements related to debt and equity financing of renewable energy projects and other general corporate activities.



The Assistant Legal Counsel will provide support the finance team in fund raising activities and review of documentation.

Qualifications

- experience in banking and finance transactions at a law firm or in banks / NBFCs
- Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of corporate, commercial, and energy-sector regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in Contract Negotiation and handling commercial agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; LL.M or specialized courses in corporate/commercial law are advantageous.
- Atleast 4 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in infrastructure, energy, or corporate sectors.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
