About The Role

What if your deep expertise in semiconductor materials or molecular modeling could directly shape how AI reasons about the physical world? We're looking for Materials Science specialists — Masters and PhD-level — to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models on some of the most technically demanding problems in contemporary science.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just rigorous domain knowledge and a sharp eye for scientific quality.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and review advanced material science problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related fields to design complex, high-quality problem statements
• Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth, and technical rigor




• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific clarity and correctness
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Master's or PhD in Materials Science, Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field
• Deep expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or adjacent research areas
• Proficient in Python or MATLAB for research or technical computation
• Rigorous and detail-oriented — you hold your work to a high scientific standard
• Clear and effective written communicator capable of explaining complex concepts precisely
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in computational materials science or density functional theory (DFT)
• Experience publishing or peer-reviewing scientific work
• Familiarity with AI or ma
