This Position reports to:

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Responsible for preparing, reviewing and approving engineering designs, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with customer and contractual requirements
• Support Mechanical Engineering of ABB MV Switchgear and equivalent product and solution portfolio(s) across the Global factories. Collaborate closely with customers and project teams to clarify technical needs, define solutions, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines
• Solid coordination with supply chain, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and service teams to ensure designs are correctly built, installed, and updated.
• Accountable for identifying risks and driving continuous improvement, standardization, and optimization of engineering processes
Qualifications For The Role
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering (should be full time)
• You have 2 to 5 Years of experience in Mechanical Design, Design to Order (DTO), or Project Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other 3D CAD software,
