About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Python API Developer with strong Data Engineering expertise to design, develop, and support scalable APIs and data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python, FastAPI, REST API development, SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms. You will be responsible for building high-performance backend services, developing robust data processing solutions, and enabling seamless integration across enterprise systems and data platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and support backend services for data-intensive and business-critical applications.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Work with large-scale datasets and optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
• Design and develop complex SQL queries,



stored procedures, and database objects.
• Integrate APIs with databases, cloud platforms, data warehouses, and third-party applications.
• Implement API authentication, authorization, request validation, exception handling, and logging mechanisms.
• Perform API testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Develop reusable frameworks and components to accelerate API and data engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, data engineers, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support production deployments and monitor application and data pipeline health.
• Follow software engineering best practices including code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
