Role:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. We are looking for an experienced Modern Trade Lead to build and drive COWBERRY’s Modern Trade business across organic food products and agricultural commodities.
This is a 0-to-1 business-building and growth role. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and onboarding key Up-to-date Trade accounts, developing relationships with buyers, managing product listings and commercial negotiations, building sales pipelines, converting opportunities into recurring business,



and establishing a scalable Modern Trade channel for COWBERRY.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience in Modern Trade sales, preferably with organic food products, FMCG, grocery, or agricultural commodities, along with strong experience in account management, buyer negotiations, trade schemes, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage business with Modern Trade retail chains and organized retail accounts.
• Identify and onboard new modern trade accounts to expand COWBERRY’s retail presence.
• Manage relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers.
• Drive sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual MT targets.
• Negotiate listing, pricing, margins, promotions, visibility, and commercial terms with retail partners.
• Coordinate product listings, new launches, assortment, and range expansion across accounts.
