Role Description The Assistant/Associate Professor will contribute to SCMHRD’s academic mission through teaching, research, and service as a full-time, on-site faculty member based in Pune. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials, and experiential learning sessions at the postgraduate level; developing and updating course content and assessment methods; and advising and mentoring students on academic and career development. The role involves engaging in scholarly research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, participating in academic conferences, and contributing to funded research and consultancy projects.

The faculty member will also participate in curriculum development, accreditation-related activities, and institutional committees,



while fostering strong connections with industry and alumni. A commitment to inclusive teaching practices, collaborative work with colleagues, and continuous professional development is expected.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic qualifications, typically a PhD or equivalent in Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated teaching competence in one or more management domains, with experience in curriculum design, instructional planning, and student evaluation at the postgraduate level.
- Active research profile or strong potential for scholarly output, including publications in reputable journals, conference presentations, and participation in academic or industry research projects.
- Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and use inclusive, learner-centered pedagogies.
- Ability to integrate industry practices and case-based learning into classroom teaching, and to collaborate effectively with corporate partners and visiting practitioners.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and learning management systems for course delivery, assessment, and student support.
- Evidence of collegiality and service to academic institutions, such as committee work, program coordination, or involvement in accreditation and quality assurance processes.
- Prior experience in a reputed management institute or relevant corporate experience is an advantage.
