About CalybAt Calyb, we’re building General System Intelligence (GSI): a new class of AI systems that can understand enterprise knowledge, reason through complex workflows, and reliably execute work across business systems.
We’re building at the intersection of AI, software systems, enterprise knowledge and autonomous execution.
We’re looking for someone who wants to build the system, shape the product, and work with the team around it, We are not looking for someone to own a small, predefined slice of the system.

About the RoleThis is a Founding Engineer role encompasses engineering/product and team leadership and execution.
Valuable engineering is the entry ticket.
The real requirement is ownership.
You will work closely with the founders to take problems from ambiguity to production, understanding the problem, deciding what should be built, building it, and eventually getting the team to execute it.
Over time,



you should become someone who can be handed an entire engineering or product problem and trusted to take it forward without needing step-by-step direction.
This role is particularly suited to an early-career engineer who has already demonstrated unusually high ownership and wants to grow rapidly into a technical and organizational leader.

What Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role is not measured by the number of tickets shipped.
You are successful when:
• A vague problem can be handed to you and comes back as a clear product and engineering plan.
• You can independently take important problems from idea → architecture → implementation → production.
• Engineers around you become faster and better because of your involvement.
• You identify problems before they become blockers and drive them to resolution.
• You increasingly own engineering and product decisions without requiring constant founder involvement.
• The team can execute larger and more complex projects because you are there.
• Over time, the founders can hand you entire
