Role DescriptionWe're looking for a Head of Sales to build and run the sales function from the ground up — not a pure manager who sets targets from the sidelines, but someone who sets the strategy and still gets in the room and closes deals personally.
You'll own sales strategy end to end: research, target account selection, positioning, and the growth plan behind how Indexed wins and scales new business. You've done this before — you've built a sales function at a similar-stage agency or B2B services business, not just carried a personal number.



You're just as comfortable running an Account-Based Marketing motion with a focused target list and a long sales cycle as you are sitting across from a senior client and closing a retainer-scale deal yourself.
What You'll DoSet the sales strategy
• Own sales strategy for Indexed end to end — research, target account selection, positioning, and the plan behind how we win and scale recent business
• Design and run an Account-Based Marketing approach: long cycles, focused target lists, and precision outreach

Close personally
• Personally close high-value deals — retainer-scale, $5K+/mo and up — comfortable in senior client conversations, not just SMB transactional sales
• Stay hands-on in the pipeline as the function grows — this is a player-coach role, not a step back from the table once a team is in place

Scale the function
• Scale the sales team and function from the ground up — process, targets, and the systems that make the pipeline predictable
