Job Summary
Republic Digital is looking for a Business Desk – Video Producer (English) to create, produce and manage high-quality business news video content across YouTube, Website, App and Social Media.
The role will be responsible for identifying strong business stories, developing video concepts and scripts, coordinating with reporters, anchors, editors and designers, and ensuring the timely delivery of engaging, accurate and digital-first business video content.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of business, finance, markets and the economy, along with excellent storytelling, scripting and video production skills.

Key Responsibilities
Business Video Production
• Identify and develop business stories with robust video potential.
• Produce daily video content covering business, markets, economy, corporate developments, startups, personal finance and trending business news.
• Develop video concepts, scripts,



story treatments, interview questions and production briefs.
• Produce formats including news packages, explainers, interviews, market updates, analysis videos, listicles, Shorts and social-first videos.
• Manage video production from ideation and scripting to editing, packaging and publishing.

Editorial & Content Development
• Research business and financial topics and convert complex information into simple, engaging video narratives.
• Ensure all scripts and video content are accurate, factually sound and editorially compliant.
• Write compelling video headlines, titles, descriptions, hooks and thumbnail text.
• Work with the Business Desk to identify breaking news, exclusive stories and trending topics.
• Maintain Republic Digital's editorial tone and standards across all video output.

Coordination & Production
