Position Overview
We are looking for dynamic, self-driven, and highly motivated Business Development Interns to join our growing team. This internship offers a unique prospect to gain hands-on experience in academic consulting, client handling, and sales while building valuable industry connections.
The core responsibility will be to interact with prospective clients, understand their requirements, and offer them suitable consulting services offered by ResearchEdge.

Compensation Structure
● Stipend: Commission-Based Model
● 10% on every successful deal closure (of the total project amount).
● Additional Incentives & Bonuses for exceptional performance.

Key Responsibilities




● Initiate outbound calls to potential clients (faculty, researchers, institutions, PhD scholars, authors, etc.)
● Understand client needs and identify suitable services (journal publications, thesis support, book publishing, indexing, etc.)
● Maintain records of client interactions, inquiries, and leads.
● Convert leads into confirmed deals by clearly explaining service benefits and offerings.
● Collaborate with the senior consulting and editorial team to customize solutions for clients.
● Regular follow-ups with prospective clients to ensure closure.
● Support business development campaigns, email marketing, and institutional outreach.
● Provide inputs for improving sales processes based on client feedback.
