The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding channel networks, and strengthening market presence within the assigned territory. The incumbent will manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners while ensuring the achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and effective market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and expand the dealer, distributor, and channel partner network.
- Identify recent business opportunities and increase market share.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with channel partners and key customers.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor business performance and competitor activities.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy receivables.
- Execute sales promotion activities, product launches, and brand-building initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Service,



Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless customer support.
- Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and periodic MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and business processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of sales experience in the Solar, Power Backup, Electrical, Energy Storage, Inverter, Battery, UPS, or allied industries.
- Strong network within the assigned territory with proven channel sales experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
