Job Summary:
FOR YOU MART is looking for a highly responsible and result-oriented Area Manager – Retail Operations to manage multiple supermarket outlets across an assigned cluster in Odisha.
The Area Manager will be accountable for store sales, profitability, inventory accuracy, stock availability, shrinkage control, customer service, manpower productivity, SOP compliance and Store Manager performance.
The selected candidate must regularly visit assigned stores, conduct operational audits, guide Store Managers, identify performance gaps and ensure timely corrective action. This is a field-based multi-store operations role, not a single-store desk position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Multi-Store Operations Management




• Manage the complete operations of all stores assigned within the cluster.
• Ensure stores open and close on time and follow approved operational SOPs.
• Conduct scheduled and surprise store visits.
• Review store cleanliness, product display, pricing, billing, customer service and staff discipline.
• Ensure every Store Manager completes assigned tasks within the prescribed timeline.
• Resolve operational issues at the Area Manager level without unnecessary escalation.
• Submit store-visit reports with observations, evidence and Corrective and Preventive Actions.

2. Sales and Profitability
• Achieve store-wise and cluster-wise monthly sales targets.
• Review daily, weekly and monthly sales performance.
• Identify underperforming stores, departments and categories.
• Prepare and execute store-specific sales-improvement plans.
