Job Summary

The Regional Sourcing & Quality Engineer administers the new product introduction process end to end: identifying recent sources, obtaining quotes from multiple suppliers, qualifying new vendors, and resolving the technical aspects of part manufacturing. This role performs quality control at supplier sites to prevent defective parts from shipping to customers and to minimize quality issues discovered after delivery.

A background in precision metal components (CNC machining, metal casting, forging, extrusion, sheet metal stamping) and precision plastic components (injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, 3D printing) is highly desirable, along with experience finding and auditing new suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and qualify new vendors when a project requires alternate sourcing.
