Role Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Apprentice to join our Quality Assurance team. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience in software testing, defect identification, test documentation, and quality assurance processes while working closely with developers, business analysts, and experienced QA engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements and software specifications.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira or similar defect-management systems.
- Re-test defects after fixes and verify that issues have been resolved.
- Participate in test planning and review requirements for testability.
- Maintain clear and accurate test documentation and execution reports.




- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to investigate and resolve issues.
- Perform basic API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Learn and work with basic SQL/database queries for data validation.
- Follow the organization's software development and QA processes.
- Continuously learn testing best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing / QA concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of defect life cycle.
- Ability to write clear and effective test cases.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Basic understanding of API testing is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and testing tools.

Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree / diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects or testing knowledge are encouraged to apply.
