Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the sales and support of a select group of High-End Research Microscopes Systems as defined by MIS Management.

- Working closely with the general sales team in High-end system leads generation.
- Research and build relationships with new customers.
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Achieving defined sales target in High-end research microscope system.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system. Track and record activity on accounts
- KPI and Scorecard will be set yearly from the key responsibility above

Area of Accountability #2 (20% of time)

Key Responsibilities

Execute formal training program in conjunction with Sales Managers for the Sales team to ensure adequate knowledge of high-end research microscope products is achieved

- Support technical enquiries from customers when required
- Be first point of call for all enquiries from service department including warranty regarding high end research products.
- Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service for our customers. Gather data on competitor products and activities
- Build and continue relationships with key accounts in conjunction with Sales and sales managers.
- Manage activities within budget and planned schedule
- Working with Sales managers and sales specialist and lead the process in high products related tenders
- Prepare materials for recent product launches including file creation, literature, presentations,



target industry listings, advertising, and promotions

Inherent Requirements

Formal Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical/scientific discipline
- PhD in a relevant scientific or engineering field is highly regarded, but not mandatory
- Candidates with a strong engineering or technical background and relevant hands-on experience in Material Science applications will also be considered
- Hands-on experience in Material Science, microscopy, imaging, surface analysis, semiconductor, electronics, or related industrial applications
- Experience in an Application Specialist, Field Application Scientist/Engineer, Technical Support, Product Specialist, or similar customer-facing technical role is preferred
- Experience in delivering product demonstrations, technical training, application support, and customer presentations
- Strong ability to understand customer applications and translate technical requirements into appropriate solutions
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Willingness to travel as required across the assigned territory

Experience

- 1 to 5 years’ Experience in high end research microscopy systems and applications.
