Role Description The Civil CADD Trainer will deliver instructor-led training on Civil CAD software and related tools to learners from engineering and design backgrounds. This full-time, on-site role based in Chennai involves planning and conducting classes, preparing training materials, demonstrations, and practical exercises, and assessing learner performance through assignments and tests.

The trainer will provide individual guidance, clarify technical concepts, and support learners in building project portfolios aligned with industry practices.



The role also includes updating course content to reflect current civil engineering standards and software features, maintaining training labs, and collaborating with the center team to ensure high-quality learning experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in civil engineering CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil, Civil 3D, REVIT or equivalent) and practical experience applying them to design and drafting projects.
- Sound knowledge of civil engineering concepts such as site planning, structures, surveying, infrastructure design, and relevant standards or codes.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, train, or mentor learners, with clear communication skills and the capacity to explain complex technical topics simply.
- Experience developing training materials, lesson plans, and project-based exercises for classroom or lab environments.
- Comfort with using computers, projectors, and other training lab equipment, and troubleshooting basic software or system issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; formal certification in Civil CAD tools is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a trainer, faculty member, or design engineer in civil engineering or CAD-focused roles is preferred.
- Ability to work in office in Chennai, collaborate with a diverse team, and adapt to evolving industry and curriculum requirements.
