This role is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of industrial or technical sales experience who know the Eastern India industrial belt and want to build a territory and grow into a business development and sales role.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Diploma, B.Com, BBA, MBA, Engineering degree, or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in industrial/technical sales, preferably selling to steel plants, power utilities, cement, mining, or heavy manufacturing sectors.
• Existing contacts and market knowledge in Kolkata / West Bengal / Odisha / Jharkhand industrial belt is an advantage.
• Ability to understand technical products and explain solutions to customers (product training will be provided by the company).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Hindi and Bengali proficiency essential; English an advantage).
• Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings and site visits.
• Owning a 2 wheeler for local travel.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and basic reporting.
• Sales aptitude, sincerity,



and a street-smart approach to business development.

What you will do:
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities with industrial companies across West Bengal and Eastern India - steel, power, cement, mining, and general manufacturing.
• Build long-term relationships with key accounts, plant engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
• Promote and sell NIEL's full portfolio of electrical equipment (motors, pumps, switchgear panels, transformers, drives, cables, etc.).
• Conduct regular client visits, site assessments, and technical discussions to understand customer requirements and propose the right solutions.
• Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of enquiries, quotations, and follow-ups.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management.
• Represent NIEL at regional trade shows, industry events, and customer sites.
• Maintain records and reporting through CRM systems and participate in regular review meet
