Job Summary
The Learning Development Specialist - Analyst I supports the day-to-day execution of learning and development activities, including training administration, learning content support, training logistics, and program coordination. Working within established processes and with guidance from more experienced team members, this role completes assigned activities accurately and on schedule, maintains program information and documentation, and supports effective coordination between the India-based team and U.S.-based stakeholders.
The Specialist is expected to develop proficiency across Learning Development processes, systems, and tools while demonstrating strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to learn. Success in this role requires consistent execution, effective communication, organization, and a service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
Training Administration Logistics
- Support scheduling and coordination of training sessions and learning activities.
- Prepare participant communications, rosters, training materials, invitations, and related logistics.
- Maintain accurate schedules, trackers, records, and program documentation.
- Complete assigned learning-administration activities according to established procedures and timelines.
- Follow up on routine action items and communicate delays or issues to appropriate team members.
- Support virtual or in-person training logistics as required.
Learning Content Support
- Support the development, formatting, updating, and maintenance of learning materials.
- Make approved edits and revisions to presentations, participant materials, facilitator resources, and job aids.
- Maintain organized files and appropriate version control.
- Conduct quality checks to identify formatting, consistency, or accuracy issues.
- Support content-review cycles and incorporate feedback as directed.
Process Team Support
- Follow established workflows, processes, templates, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assigned activities.
- Support team handoffs and recurring operational activities.
- Identify routine process issues and share observations with more experienced team members or leadership.
- Learn and effectively use required Learning Development systems, tools.
- Provide support for additional team priorities during periods of increased workload.
Stakeholder Communication Support
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding assigned activities.
- Respond to routine questions and requests within established service expectations.
- Coordinate with India-based colleagues and U.S.-based partners as needed to complete assigned work.
- Provide timely status updates and escalate questions or issues when guidance is needed.
- Demonstrate responsiveness and follow through on commitments.
Education Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Learning Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Typically 2+ years of relevant professional experience in Learning Development, training coordination, HR, program administration, operations, or a related area.
- Experience coordinating administrative activities, projects, events, training, or recurring deliverables preferred.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven workplace with multiple priorities.
- Exposure to global teams, shared services, or a Global Capability Center is preferred but not required.
