Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network/Cabling Support Engineer with strong knowledge of copper and fibre optic cabling systems. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting cabling-related issues, supporting client IT and facility teams, maintaining service records, and ensuring timely resolution of support requests.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for copper cabling systems, including Cat6/Cat6A, and fibre optic cabling systems.

- Perform troubleshooting and identify issues related to structured cabling and network connectivity.

- Use Fluke testing tools for cable testing and certification.

- Interpret cabling drawings, layouts, and other technical documentation.

- Coordinate closely with client IT teams, facility management, and the client’s service desk for issue resolution.

- Attend and resolve support calls within the required timelines.

- Maintain accurate records of service activities, testing, and issue resolution.





- Update and manage support tickets in the client’s software/service desk application.

- Provide clear communication and technical updates to clients and internal teams.

- Follow standard procedures for cabling installation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Cat6/Cat6A copper and fibre optic cabling systems.

- Familiarity with Fluke testing tools and cable certification processes.

- Ability to read and interpret cabling drawings, layouts, and technical documents.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and client-facing skills.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with client teams and internal stakeholders.

- Experience with service desk/ticketing systems will be an added advantage.
