Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Printing Technology / Printing & Packaging is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, source, and procure packaging materials such as cartons, labels, pouches, corrugated boxes, and other printed packaging materials based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Manage Purchase Orders, lead times, supplier deliveries, and material availability to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service-level agreements with suppliers to achieve cost optimisation.
• Manage inventory planning, safety stock, MRP inputs, stock ageing, obsolescence, and inventory turnover.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for material receipt, inspection, storage, binning, and dispatch, ensuring FIFO/FEFO and damage control.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Planning, and R&D; teams for material specifications, sample approvals, and resolution of quality/supply issues.




• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and service, and drive vendor development and continuous improvement.
• Conduct/coordinate vendor audits and ensure adherence to approved specifications and procurement processes.
• Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records using ERP/SAP and Advanced Excel.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, quality standards, and applicable procedures.

Mandatory Requirements
• Printing/Packaging education or relevant Printing Technology qualification is mandatory.
• Relevant experience in packaging procurement, preferably with printed packaging materials.
• Robust knowledge of cartons, labels, pouches, corrugated boxes, printing processes, and packaging specifications.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and Advanced Excel.
• Strong vendor negotiation, commercial, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
