Responsibilities

- Problem and outcome: Own the healthcare problem, target user, and success criteria. Keep Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Patient Engagement needs distinct and accurate in US ambulatory context.
- Artifacts: Produce and maintain the PRD and granular BRD. Generate clickable prototypes with modern tools. Review HLD/LLD with the Architect so design matches the intended workflow.
- Human in the loop: Prompt and steer agentic work at each stage. Review every major artifact. Test solutions as an end user (clinical, billing, or patient-facing workflows as the problem requires).
- Reviews and communication: Lead clear reviews and presentations for engineering, clinical, and business stakeholders. Articulate trade-offs and open questions without waiting to be asked.
- Quality from the user side: Walk the built solution as a user would. File gaps against the BRD. Sign off that the workflow is usable before security and compliance review.
- Partnership: Work as a pair with the Architect. As engineers join, keep them aimed at the outcome, not only the ticket.

Required Qualifications

- Healthcare IT: More than 3 years in Healthcare IT. Must have experience with ambulatory US Healthcare IT.
- Domain: Working understanding of Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Patient Engagement — not only one of the three.
- AI usage:



Good AI usage techniques: prompting, structured generation of artifacts, and staying in the loop as a reviewer, not a passenger.
- PRDs and prototypes: At least 2 years in Product Owner or Product manager Role. Generates PRDs and prototypes with tools (not slide-only requirements). Comfortable iterating in the same path the team will use to build.
- Communication: Transparent articulation in presentations. Able to lead reviews and walk engineering, clinical, and business audiences through artifacts and decisions.
- Hands-on: Willing and able to take on multiple roles: reviewing artifacts, testing solutions as an end user, and filling gaps so the cell keeps moving.
- Working style: Highly responsible and self-directed. Comfortable working from Navi Mumbai with US-based leadership, taking limited direction, and still delivering.

Positive to Have

- Product background: Product owner or other product experience working with an engineering team (backlog, sprint partnership, acceptance).
- Workflows and compliance: Specific knowledge of ambulatory workflows (scheduling, charting, charges, claims, denials, patient intake) or compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, ONC, information blocking).
- Technical / APIs: Technical background and API understanding: REST, JSON, FHIR, HL7, or similar integration patterns. Enough to review a design and spot a bad interface.
- Prototype and UI tools: Figma, v0, Cursor, or similar. Enough familiarity with React, Next.js, or Flutter to review shipped UI, not only mockups.
- Analytics: Comfort with product metrics and lightweight analytics (e.g. Metabase or equivalent) to define success and check it after ship.
- Adjacent product areas: Practice management, EHR, RCM automation, patient engagement, ambient documentation, or front-office voice/AI.
