The company builds standards-aligned digital curriculum for US K-12 and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, working closely with US-based instructional design leads, subject matter experts and production teams.

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer for a 3-month remote contract to design engaging, standards-aligned learning experiences for US K-12 and CTE courses. You will work closely with a US-based Lead Instructional Designer, Course Instructional Designer and subject matter experts to translate technical content into learner-centered activities, assessments and storyboards. This role also supports AI-assisted course development,



refining prompt structures and reviewing AI-generated content for instructional quality and accuracy.
This is a US-shift role, requiring overlap with the US team starting 5-6 PM IST for a 9-hour shift.

Key responsibilities
• Design instructional activities aligned with pedagogical frameworks and US K-12/CTE program standards
• Develop formative, summative and performance-based assessments that reflect real-world tasks
• Develop storyboards across modules and lessons, in line with direction from the US Lead and Course IDs
• Ensure tight alignment between learning objectives, activities and assessments, and close instructional gaps
• Partner with SMEs to translate technical content into learner-centered experiences
• Align activities and assessments to US state and industry standards (e.g., TEKS, Florida CTE, CTSOs)
• Produce explicit, complete instructional documentation ready for handoff to production teams
• Design activities and assessments that fit the clien
