Description

We are seeking a skilled GIS analyst to join our team for a recent project focusing on map processing. The role involves handling both paper and electronic map images, organizing them on Google Drive, and utilizing mapping tools for efficient processing. The analyst will be responsible for managing assignments, updating status, and ensuring quality control throughout the process. This position requires strong attention to detail and technical proficiency in mapping tools such as Google Maps and experience in Geospace.

Responsibilities

• Upload and organize paper and electronic map images onto Google Drive daily.
• Record all received maps in the Assignments Google Sheet.
• Access drawing tools and map files for processing,



following one row at a time (each representing a farmer account).
• Update the status field in the Assignments Google Sheet to reflect progress (not started, in progress, or complete).
• Collaborate with the FBN team for quality assurance and quality control of processed maps.
• Explicit out completed rows and mark them as “done” upon QA/QC approval.
• Utilize the comments/note section in the Assignments Google Sheet for feedback and exception resolution assistance on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mapping tools, particularly Google Maps.
• Experience in Geospace or related mapping technologies.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to recent tools and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and feedback.
• Working Hours: 05:30 pm to 02:30 am
