Role Overview

Matrimony.com runs India's most trusted matrimony ecosystem — Bharat Matrimony, Community Matrimony, Elite Matrimony, and a portfolio of community-led brands including Tamil Matrimony, Telugu Matrimony, Hindi Matrimony and more. Together, our platforms host millions of high-intent users at one of life's biggest decision moments: marriage. That intent translates into one of the most contextually rich, demographically targeted ad environments in Indian digital media.
We're hiring an Ad Sales Manager in Mumbai to monetize this inventory at scale — across web, app, email, and on-platform real estate — by building partnerships with brands and media agencies in categories that thrive at the wedding moment: Jewellery, BFSI, real estate, auto, apparel, lifestyle, travel, and consumer durables.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive ad revenue from South-based brands and media agency partners across our full portfolio of matrimony platforms
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline — from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, closure, and renewal
• Develop category-led narratives (e.g., why a Jewellery brand should buy us for the engagement-to-wedding funnel) and translate audience data into commercial propositions
• Own relationships with planners, buyers, and strategy leads at agencies (GroupM, Publicis, Dentsu, IPG, Madison, Havas, and independents) and with direct brand teams
• Work closely with ad ops, creative, and product teams to package custom solutions — display, native, branded content, sponsorships, lead-gen, and integrated campaigns
• Hit quarterly revenue targets, maintain forecasting hygiene, and report on pipeline health
• Bring market intelligence back — competitive pricing, emerging categories, agency mandates, and white-space opportunities
