Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Production Support Engineer with strong experience in application production support, SQL/SQL Server, troubleshooting, log analysis, and customer-facing support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing production issues, analyzing application and SQL Server logs, coordinating with development teams, and ensuring timely resolution of critical customer issues.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications and services.
• Monitor applications and proactively identify production issues, failures, and performance problems.
• Troubleshoot application issues by analyzing SQL queries, database behavior, application logs, and SQL Server logs.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for troubleshooting, data validation, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Analyze SQL Server logs, application logs, error messages, stack traces,



and system alerts to identify the root cause of incidents.
• Understand how applications are developed and work closely with developers, QA, DevOps, and database teams to resolve technical issues.
• Investigate production incidents from identification through resolution and provide explicit RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
• Handle customer-reported technical issues and provide timely, professional communication and status updates.
• Participate in customer calls to understand issues, explain technical findings, and communicate resolution timelines.
• Coordinate with development teams for application defects, enhancements, and permanent fixes.
• Perform impact analysis and recommend appropriate workarounds or permanent solutions.
• Maintain incident, problem, and knowledge-management documentation.
• Participate in production deployments, release validation, and post-deployment monitoring.
