Role Summary
We are looking for a responsible and student-focused Admin & Counsellor to manage day-to-day administrative activities while supporting students and parents through counselling and guidance. The role involves coordinating with students, parents, faculty, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and a positive student experience.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Manage day-to-day administrative and office activities.
- Maintain student records, documents, forms, and databases accurately.
- Coordinate with faculty, students, parents, and other departments for administrative requirements.
- Handle student enquiries and provide relevant information regarding courses, schedules, processes, and facilities.
- Manage attendance, records, notices, and other routine documentation.
- Support admissions, events, meetings, and other institutional activities.
- Coordinate office supplies, basic facilities, and other administrative requirements.
- Prepare reports and updates as required by management.
- Ensure administrative processes are followed properly and on time.
Counselling
- Interact with prospective and existing students to understand their academic and career interests.
- Provide information and guidance regarding courses, programs, admissions, and career options.
- Conduct counselling sessions with students and parents and address their queries professionally.
- Follow up with prospective students and assist them throughout the admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling interactions, enquiries, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth student journey.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in administration, counselling, admissions, education, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Google Workspace, particularly Sheets and Docs.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with students, parents, faculty, and management.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work within deadlines.
- Professional, approachable, and student-friendly attitude.
- Prior experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.
Work Location: In Person Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹28,000.00 per month
