Role & responsibilities

- Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers and accounting records.

- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciliation.

- Assist with Income Tax Return preparation and tax computation.

- Handle TDS compliance, returns and reconciliations.

- Assist in statutory audit, tax audit and other audit assignments.

- Assist with ROC/MCA and other statutory compliance requirements.

- Prepare MIS reports, management reports and financial analysis.

- Perform bank, vendor, customer and GST reconciliations.

- Coordinate with clients for data collection, queries and pending information.

- Review day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for clients.

- Monitor compliance deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments.

- Identify accounting/compliance issues and coordinate with seniors for resolution.

- Maintain proper documentation and working papers for client assignments.

- Work on accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Excel and other relevant platforms.

- Support the team in process improvement and automation initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- 13 years of relevant experience in a CA firm / Accounting & Tax Consultancy.

- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping.

- Good working knowledge of GST and Income Tax.

- Knowledge of TDS and statutory compliances.





- Basic understanding of Audit and Financial Statements.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel.

- Hands-on experience with Tally / Tally Prime.

- Experience with Zoho Books will be an added advantage.

- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Positive written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to independently handle client assignments.

- Good client coordination and follow-up skills.

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

- Willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- CA Inter / CA Final / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent qualification.

- Candidates currently working or having prior experience in a CA firm will be preferred.

- Candidates with experience in handling multiple clients will be preferred.

- Candidates with exposure to MIS, taxation, audit and accounting automation will have an added advantage
