About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant (CPA/CA) to join our client’s dynamic team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, allowing the successful candidate to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments. The primary focus of this role is to ensure accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with applicable regulations, and the provision of insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a CPA or CA certification with a minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and international accounting standards is essential.



Candidates should have hands-on experience with popular financial software and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are also necessary to effectively present financial data to non-financial team members and management. A proactive approach to continuous learning and staying updated with evolving financial regulations will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and examine financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with local, state, and federal tax laws, ensuring timely submission and compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, or potential areas of concern within financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.




- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic financial insights and reports to aid in decision-making and business growth initiatives.
