Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The role involves preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking payments, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll calculations.

The Accountant will support monthly and annual closing activities, prepare basic financial reports, and coordinate with external auditors or consultants as needed.



The position also includes ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and local tax regulations, while collaborating with project and operations teams to provide accurate financial data.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel and other office tools.
- Knowledge of invoicing, billing, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll support processes.
- Ability to prepare basic financial statements, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Robust attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
