Job Overview

IG Laps is looking for an experienced Accountant cum Financial Analyst who can handle accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial planning, profitability analysis, MIS reporting and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting and Compliance

Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, invoices, expenses, receipts and payments.

Maintain accurate records using Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Handle bank, vendor and customer reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.

Coordinate GST, TDS, payroll accounting and statutory compliance with CA or consultants.

Track Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections and outstanding payments.

Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Planning

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.

Develop revenue, expense, cash flow and profitability forecasts.

Perform Actual vs Budget vs Forecast analysis and identify significant variances.

Prepare short-term and long-term financial plans.

Forecast working capital requirements and potential cash flow shortages.

Maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and provide early warnings regarding cash flow gaps.

Create financial scenarios to support management decisions.

Financial Analysis and MIS

Prepare monthly P&L;, cash flow, revenue, expense and management MIS reports.

Analyze business, department, client and project-wise profitability.

Monitor employee and consultant costs against revenue generated.

Identify unnecessary expenses, financial leakage and cost-saving opportunities.

Track key financial KPIs and provide actionable insights to management.

Support management in pricing, investment,



hiring and expansion decisions through financial analysis.

Cash Flow and Business Planning

Plan upcoming salaries, vendor payments, taxes, operational expenses and other liabilities.

Monitor budget overruns and cash flow gaps.

Recommend measures to improve profitability, working capital and financial discipline.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting and financial analysis.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Good understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.

Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Good understanding of GST, TDS and Indian accounting compliance.

Experience in MIS reporting and management dashboards.

Solid cost control and profitability analysis skills.

Strong analytical and numerical ability.

High attention to detail, confidentiality and financial discipline.

Qualification

B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, CMA Inter or equivalent experience.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for someone who can go beyond transaction recording and analyze financial data, identify financial risks, forecast future cash requirements, control costs and provide meaningful financial insights to management.
