About Veris

Veris (Digicred Technologies) builds modern, secure workplace technology deployed across 3,000+ sites in 22 countries including access control (Veris Gate), visitor management (Welcome), AI video surveillance (Watch), and desk & meeting-room management. We're looking for a hands-on field engineer to install, commission and support our access control systems at customer sites, and to help with our other modules as needed.

Role Summary

You will install, configure, test and maintain access control hardware and software at client locations, and provide in office and remote support to keep systems running.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, wire, mount and commission access control devices — card/RFID readers, biometric & face readers, door controllers, locks, exit buttons and control panels.
- Configure system software, add users and access rules, and test that doors, readers and controllers work correctly after installation.
- Provide on-site support: diagnose and fix hardware, wiring, network and software issues; carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance visits.
- Respond to customer service requests promptly and see them through to resolution.
- Support Veris' other modules at site as required — visitor management, video surveillance, time & attendance, and meeting-room/desk systems.




- Assist with networking setup (IP addressing, connecting devices to switches/routers) for system connectivity.
- Fill in installation and service reports, and keep simple records of work done at each site.
- Coordinate with the customer's IT/facilities team and with Veris' support team during installation and troubleshooting.
- Follow safety procedures and site rules while working at customer premises.

What We're Looking For
- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Science or a related field (freshers welcome).
- Basic hands-on comfort with electrical/electronic wiring and small hardware tools.
- Basic understanding of computers and networking (IP addresses, LAN) — willingness to learn is more important than deep expertise.
- Good spoken communication and a helpful, customer-friendly attitude.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the city/region and work on-site.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and take ownership of tasks.
- Prior exposure to access control, CCTV, biometrics, or other security/ELV systems is a MUST HAVE requirement.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence for site visits will be required
