An Admission Counsellor will play a key role in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their educational requirements, recommending suitable courses or programs, converting leads into admissions, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Generate and manage sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups, outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Handle student enquiries and guide prospective students throughout the admission process.
- Understand students' and parents' needs, requirements, and career goals and recommend suitable courses or programs.
- Counsel and interact with students, parents, and guardians regarding courses, admissions, eligibility, and enrollment procedures.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions and achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Follow up with prospective students regularly and maintain solid relationships throughout the admission journey.
- Support students one-on-one in course selection, application procedures, documentation, and meeting application deadlines.
- Assist students in obtaining and submitting the necessary documents required for the application process.
- Provide accurate information regarding admission requirements, course details, enrollment procedures, fees,



and other relevant information.
- Coordinate the application and admission process efficiently and ensure timely communication with students and parents.
- Maintain and update student and lead information in the CRM system.
- Track follow-ups, conversions, and sales activities through the CRM.
- Handle objections and queries professionally and work towards successful conversion.
- Build long-term relationships with students and parents through effective communication and counselling.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding experience for students.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in admissions, education counselling, inside sales, telesales, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent counselling, listening, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and effectively pitch suitable courses or programs.
- Strong inclination to work in a target-driven sales environment.
- Proven ability to convert leads into sales/admissions.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
