Academic Counsellor

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team in Kozhikode.

The role involves handling prospective students, understanding their career and learning goals, recommending suitable programs, and converting qualified leads into admissions across two key learning verticals:

- SAPAIN – AI & Creative Technology Courses
- THYNCK – Digital Marketing Courses

The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for managing the student journey from the initial enquiry through counselling, follow-up, admission, onboarding, and course coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Handle leads generated through Meta Ads, references, webinars, online programs, offline events, and other sources.
- Identify and develop potential leads through relevant channels.
- Conduct initial calls to understand student requirements, interests, career goals, and learning needs.
- Recommend suitable SAPAIN AI courses or THYNCK Digital Marketing programs based on student requirements.
- Effectively communicate course structure, learning outcomes, career opportunities, and program benefits.
- Manage leads from the first interaction until successful admission.
- Follow up consistently with prospective students and address their questions and objections.
- Identify high-potential leads and coordinate webinars, meetings, counselling sessions, or offline interactions.
- Drive conversions and close admissions across both SAPAIN and THYNCK course segments.
- Coordinate the complete admission and onboarding process.
- Follow up on registration and course fee payments.
- Coordinate with students regarding classes, schedules, course structure, and important updates.




- Maintain accurate records of leads, admissions, payments, and student interactions.
- Coordinate with internal academic and operational teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Support students throughout their learning journey, including onboarding, class coordination, and course completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and enrolled students.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in academic counselling, admissions, educational sales, business development, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid counselling, persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Good understanding of sales and lead conversion processes.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic proficiency in CRM, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and digital tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
