About the role
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable and sustainable sales growth within the assigned geography by developing and executing area-specific business plans, managing and mentoring a team of frontline sales professionals and distributors, and ensuring the achievement of volume, value, and distribution targets.



The role owns end-to-end market execution including primary and secondary sales, channel and outlet expansion, trade scheme implementation, and competitive intelligence while building strong, collaborative relationships with distributors and retail partners to maximize brand visibility and market share. By closely monitoring key performance metrics, optimizing resource deployment, and ensuring operational discipline across the sales value chain, the Area Sales Manager acts as a critical link between the organization's strategic sales objectives and their effective execution on ground.
