This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an SAP IS-U ABAP Technical Consultant (Utilities) based in India.

This is a hands-on technical consulting role focused on developing, maintaining, and supporting SAP IS-U solutions within the utilities domain.
You will work across core utility processes including billing, invoicing, device management, FICA, and customer service.
The role involves designing and delivering ABAP solutions across reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, and forms.
You will collaborate closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable and scalable technical solutions.
The position also involves debugging, performance optimization, integration testing, issue resolution, and UAT support.
You will have the opportunity to work with modern SAP environments, including S/4HANA and HANA-based landscapes where applicable.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and support ABAP programs within SAP IS-U environments.

• Develop and enhance RICEF objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.

• Build and maintain ABAP reports using technologies such as ALV and other relevant reporting frameworks.

• Develop and maintain SmartForms, Adobe Forms, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, and other custom SAP objects.

• Support SAP IS-U functionality across Billing, Invoicing, FICA, Device Management, and related processes.

• Work with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and other interface technologies.
