The American Express Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) function provides second-line policy, framework, oversight and control solutions to meet the Company’s legal, regulatory and risk management mandates in connection with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption. The GFCC portfolio comprises all aspects of the Company’s first and second-line financial crime risk management (FCRM) activities, including all lines of businesses in the United States and both proprietary and non-proprietary global markets.

Responsibilities
The GFCC Enablement Reporting Analyst will be responsible for developing and enhancing reporting, analytics, and dashboard capabilities that help GFCC leadership make informed decisions. The role will partner with business, Product, and Technology stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable solutions, analyze data from multiple sources, identify trends and anomalies, strengthen reporting controls, and support implementation through User Acceptance Testing (UAT)



and Post Implementation Validation (PIV). The Analyst will be expected to combine robust technical execution with business curiosity, moving beyond data production to provide meaningful insights that improve reporting quality, usability, and decision-making.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial crimes reports, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics that provide timely and accurate visibility into GFCC performance trends, and risks for leadership and governance forums.

• Use SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools to extract, join, reconcile, and analyze data across multiple sources; identify trends, anomalies, outliers, and performance drivers, and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
