We are seeking a highly motivated Embedded Engineer II to join our Thermal Solutions engineering team. The candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of embedded software for thermal control products, including Burner Control Systems, Combustion Controllers, Flame Scanners, Flame Safeguard Systems, Ignition Controls, and associated industrial combustion solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong embedded software development skills along with a valuable understanding of combustion and burner management systems used in industrial and commercial thermal applications.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware using C/C++ for Thermal portfolio products.
• Develop software for Burner Management Systems (BMS), Combustion Controllers, Flame Monitoring Systems, and related control platforms.
• Participate in requirements analysis, software architecture, design reviews, implementation, and verification activities.
• Work closely with systems, hardware, safety,



and product engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for field and product defects.
• Integrate software with sensors, actuators, flame detection devices, ignition modules, and communication interfaces.
• Support product validation, certification, and compliance activities.
• Contribute to software quality improvements through code reviews, static analysis, unit testing, and automation.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams on feature development and product enhancements.

Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming.
• Experience with microcontroller-based system development.
• Knowledge of RTOS concepts including tasks, scheduling, semaphores, queues, and synchronization mechanisms.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using JTAG
