• Issue, return, renew, and reserve books and other library materials.

• Help students, teachers, researchers, and other users find books and information.

• Arrange books and materials accounting to the library classification system and keep shelves organized.

• Update records of books, memberships, loans, returns, and overdue materials.

• Assist with entering and updating bibliography details of books and other resources.

• Guide users in locating information through catalogues, databases, reference books, and other resources.

• Help receive, label, stamp, cover, and prepare recent books for circulation.

• Track overdue books and remind students and faculty to return them.

• Assist in periodic stock verification and identify missing or damaged Books and Journals.

• Keep the library, reading areas, shelves, and materials clean, orderly, and accessible.

• Help users access library computers, online catalogues, e-books, databases, and other digital resources.

• Assist the Librarian in preparing reports,



maintain statistics, handle routine correspondence, and other daily tasks.

• Protect library materials from loss or damage and follow proper procedures for preservation.

• Assist with exhibitions, reading programs, workshops, events, and other library activities.
