Lead Software Engineer
About the Role
Evolent is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to be a key contributor in building scalable, secure, and high-performance healthcare applications. This role requires strong technical expertise along with the ability to lead design and development efforts,
mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using ASP.NET MVC, Web forms, .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server
• Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, and production support
• Architect scalable and secure solutions by applying design patterns and principles
• Provide technical leadership to the team, conduct design/code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality features
• Drive performance optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Contribute to modernization initiatives including migration to cloud-native or microservices-based architectures
• Identify and recommend current technologies and tools to improve syste
