About Max Healthcare Corporate Tax Team

Corporate Tax team at Max Healthcare is responsible to ensure that the Company, all its subsidiaries and affiliates follow the tax strategy, governance and risk control framework approved by the Competent Authority. Tax Team is driving by purpose to serve to excel.
We are looking for a detail-oriented tax and compliance person with hands-on experience in TDS compliance, accounting and audit support, reconciliations, and statutory reporting. The role involves handling routine direct tax compliances, support in tax and statutory audit, and coordination with internal stakeholders for timely statutory compliance.
To be successful in this role, you should:

• Graduate in Commerce / B.Com / M.Com with 1–3-year experience
• Understanding of accounting concepts and reconciliations
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and Excel
• Positive analytical and documentation skills
• Ability to manage timelines and compliance calendars
• Basic understanding of GST and direct tax provisions will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities





Given below is job description which captures the primary responsibility of the role. Depending upon the requirement, you may be assigned any other responsibility within the group:

Direct Tax & TDS Compliance
• Preparation and filing support for Form 145/146 (old form 15CA/15CB) compliances
• Preparation and timely deposit of monthly TDS/TCS liabilities
• Filing of quarterly TDS/TCS returns and Correction Statement
• Preparation and issuance of TDS certificates
• Maintain TDS schedules for statutory audit
• Preparation and filing of Form 98 (old Form 61) for Form 97(old Form 60) reporting
• Assistance in quarterly tax provisions
• Support in tax audit activities including TDS reconciliation, Clause 44 working, ledger and data extraction.
• Responsible for opening lower deduction codes in system

Accounting & Reconciliation Responsibilities
• Passing TDS payment, IUB and bank accounting entries
