About The Role
You'll join Skyroot's launch sales team and be the research and preparation engine of the business.
On rideshare missions, you'll own your own pipeline—from first contact through proposal. On dedicated launches, you'll work closely with the Director of Business Development to find the right opportunities, qualify them, and make sure we walk into every meeting knowing the prospect better than they expect.

What You'll Do
• Build and run your own pipeline: Prospect, qualify, and move deals forward, with the Director's review at key stages.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Mission Management, Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations to get quotes, contracts, and technical answers back to customers quickly.
• Handle early technical conversations with customers as needed, including orbit requirements, interface questions, and integration timelines, and bring in the mission team at the right point.
• Keep HubSpot CRM current: contacts, activities, qualification status, deal stages,



and next steps logged within 24 hours.
• Identify and qualify operators with a constellation or demo mission, a launch need in 2027–2029, and no locked-in provider.
• Track funding rounds, contract awards, and competitors' launch manifests.
• Prepare account briefs for every meeting covering mission, satellite mass and orbit, current launch provider, decision-makers, qualification status, and contact history.
• Pre-book conference meetings against the target list, working with Sales Operations.

What It's Like Here
Priorities move. A competitor's manifest slips, an account reopens, and a proposal is due in two days. You'll need to reprioritise, work independently, and keep several internal teams moving at once.
