Job Purpose
This role is responsible for supporting the company's treasury activities, including liquidity management, cash forecasting, foreign exchange (FX) management, and banking relationship management. The role plays a critical part in ensuring optimal cash utilization, maintaining adequate liquidity, managing financial risks, and supporting the organization's working capital objectives. The position collaborates closely with Finance, Commercial, Trade Finance, Operations, and external banking partners to drive effective treasury operations and informed financial decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cash & Liquidity Management
• Monitor and manage daily liquidity positions to ensure sufficient funding across business entities
• Optimize cash utilization to maximize interest income
• Monitor bank charges and identify opportunities to improve banking cost efficiency
• Ensure timely execution of treasury transactions and adherence to internal controls and policies.

Cash Forecasting
• Prepare and submit daily cash flow forecasts, highlighting FX requirements,



working capital needs, liquidity risks, and foreign exchange exposures.
• Develop and maintain a rolling 9-week cash flow forecast, ensuring accuracy through regular review and updates.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Commercial, Trade Finance, and other stakeholders to gather and validate forecast inputs.
• Analyse cash flow trends and provide actionable insights to management on liquidity, working capital, and cash optimization opportunities.
• Build a strong understanding of business operations and market dynamics to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Support investment decisions by identifying surplus cash opportunities and executing approved transactions in accordance with delegated authorities.

Foreign Exchange (FX) Management
• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly FX exposure reports.
