Role
Paisalo Digital Limited is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Legal Professional to join its Legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in recovery, litigation, arbitration, contract drafting and negotiation, with the ability to independently manage multiple legal matters and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle, monitor, and manage recovery and litigation matters across various courts, tribunals, and legal forums.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned legal cases, including tracking hearings, filings, orders, and significant case developments.
• Draft, review, vet, and negotiate contracts, agreements, notices, legal documents, pleadings, applications, and other legal instruments.
• Assist in managing and coordinating arbitration proceedings, including preparation of documents, briefs, and coordination with external counsels.
• Liaise with external advocates, legal consultants, and law firms to ensure timely and effective handling of legal matters.




• Prepare case summaries, legal opinions, briefs, notices, and management updates as required.
• Support the business and internal teams on legal issues arising from day-to-day operations.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Identify potential legal risks and provide practical inputs to mitigate such risks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of litigation, recovery, arbitration, contracts, and other legal matters.
• Work closely with internal business and functional teams to understand requirements and provide appropriate legal support.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• LL.B. from a reputed college/university.
• 7+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in litigation, recovery, arbitration, and/or corporate legal functions.
• Strong understanding of contract law, civil/commercial litigation, recovery laws, arbitration
