About AmyloAmylo is a Bengaluru-based biopolymer and compostable materials company developing sustainable alternatives to conventional plastic packaging.
We work on biopolymer formulations, polymer compounding, extrusion, and blown-film processing to develop compostable films and other sustainable polymer products.
About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Operations Trainee to join our production team at our facility in Nelamangala.
The primary focus of this role will be biopolymer extrusion and blown-film operations. The candidate will be trained on our processing equipment and will work closely with the R&D; and production teams during material trials and regular production.
This is a shop-floor, hands-on role and is suitable for someone who enjoys working with machines and wants to build practical experience in polymer processing.
Key Responsibilities• Assist in operating extrusion and blown-film processing equipment.




• Learn and operate extrusion equipment under supervision.
• Assist with biopolymer compounding and extrusion trials.
• Prepare and handle polymers, bio-based materials, powders, additives, and pellets.
• Carry out material feeding, mixing, weighing, and loading.
• Monitor extrusion parameters
• Assist with extruder start-up, shutdown, purging, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with blown-film operation, including film bubble handling, thickness adjustment, winding, and material collection.
• Monitor film quality and identify basic defects during processing.
• Support R&D; trials involving new biopolymer formulations.
• Record processing parameters and observations from production trials.
• Assist with pelletizing, material collection, packing, and other downstream operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area and equipment.
• Follow all equipment operating procedures and safet
