Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Oncologist role based in Raipur at BALCO Medical Centre (A Unit of Vedanta Medical Research Foundation). The Medical Oncologist will evaluate and manage patients with various types and stages of cancer, including performing comprehensive clinical assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating evidence-based treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include prescribing and monitoring chemotherapy and systemic therapies,



coordinating with radiation oncologists and surgical specialists, and participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards. The role also involves providing ongoing follow-up care, managing treatment-related side effects, documenting patient care accurately, and contributing to clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and patient education. The Medical Oncologist is expected to work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to ensure safe, ethical, and compassionate care for all patients.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Oncology, with the ability to manage a wide range of cancer cases.
• Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of Cancer biology, staging, and evidence-based treatment guidelines.
