Job Summary:
We are looking for a Ecommerce Product / Category Manager to lead the Washing Machine and Air Cooler categories for across e-commerce marketplaces. The role will be responsible for driving category growth, product launches, demand forecasting, inventory planning, pricing strategy, promotional campaigns, and marketplace visibility while working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales, profitability, and market share objectives:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Category Growth & Business Performance
• Drive sales, GMV, market share, and profitability for Washing Machines and Air Coolers across marketplaces.
• Execute category growth plans aligned with monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
• Maximize participation and performance during marketplace events and promotional campaigns.

2. Product Development & Launch Excellence




• Identify market opportunities and define product requirements based on consumer insights and competitor analysis.
• Lead end-to-end product launches, including pricing, content, promotions, and marketplace readiness.
• Ensure successful introduction and scaling of new products within target timelines.

3. Demand Forecasting & Planning
• Develop accurate sales forecasts using historical data, seasonality, market trends, and promotional plans.
• Plan inventory requirements for festive events, peak seasons, and recent product launches.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions through regular variance analysis.

4. Pricing, Promotions & Profitability Management
• Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximize sales and margins.
• Monitor category profitability, platform costs, and promotional effectiveness.
• Execute marketplace deals, coupon campaigns, and event-led pricing initiatives.
