Job Description:
• Lead Solar Resource Assessment initiatives for diverse project locations, ensuring accurate evaluation of resources and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive Energy Yield Analysis and Optimization, leveraging advanced technologies and creative approaches to deliver high-performance plant layouts.
• Oversee BOQ Development based on AC/DC cable loss calculations and optimized design scenarios, ensuring cost efficiency and technical accuracy.
• Evaluate Emerging Module and Robotic Cleaning Technologies, providing strategic recommendations based on OEM documentation and industry trends.
• Plan PV Module Factory Visits to understand the technological advancements and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.
• Act as Key Technical Interface with Lender’s Engineers, supporting due diligence and contributing to successful project financing.
• Collaborate with O&M; Teams to implement advanced diagnostic techniques (EL and FTR) for monitoring and maintaining module health.
• Develop and Standardize SOPs and Checklists,
promoting operational excellence and consistency across processes.
• Interpret Complex Test Results and make strategic decisions on Module, Inverter, Tracker selection to safeguard performance and reliability.
• Mentor and Guide team members, fostering technical growth, knowledge sharing, and a culture of innovation within the team.
• Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration, engaging stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and project timelines.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation, identifying opportunities to enhance design methodologies, resource utilization, and project delivery efficiency.
PRE-REQUISITES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in solar energy system design, installation, and project execution, with demonstrated leadership in technical teams.
