SENIOR SAP BTP DEVELOPER – CAP & MULTI-TENANT APPLICATIONS
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior SAP BTP Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP CAP/CAPM, BTP, Node.js/Java, and multi-tenant application development. The candidate should have good understanding of Clean Core principles, BTP services, system design, Infrastructure as Code, and modern AI-assisted development practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable applications using SAP BTP and SAP CAP/CAPM.
• Develop CAP applications using Node.js and/or Java, CDS, OData V4, and REST APIs.
• Design and implement secure multi-tenant SaaS applications on SAP BTP.
• Implement tenant isolation and design appropriate data and service architectures for multi-tenant applications.
• Work with SaaS Provisioning Service, SaaS Registry, XSUAA, Service Manager, Destination Service, and other BTP services.
• Follow SAP Clean Core principles and use released APIs, CDS views, and extension approaches.
• Work with SAP HANA/HANA Cloud and other relevant databases for application persistence.




• Design productive write paths, data models, and storage strategies.
• Analyze application performance and scalability and design solutions that can handle increased load.
• Use Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices for provisioning and managing BTP infrastructure.
• Explore and adopt AI-assisted development tools and new SAP/AI technologies where relevant.
• Collaborate with frontend teams using SAPUI5/Fiori and integrate backend services with business applications.
• Work with CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
Mandatory Skills
• 6+ years of overall software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP BTP experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CAP/CAPM.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and/or Java.
• Robust knowledge of CDS, OData V4, REST APIs, and service development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
